  10. you are using an evaluation version of WinZip, see the section
  11. titled "Evaluation License" below.

  14. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  15. agreement signed by Nico Mak Computing, Inc. your use of this
  16. software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and
  17. warranty.

  19. Registered Version

  21. One registered copy of WinZip may either be used by a single
  22. person who uses the software personally on one or more
  23. computers, or installed on a single workstation used
  24. nonsimultaneously by multiple people, but not both.
  25.  
  26. You may access the registered version of WinZip through a
  27. network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses
  28. for the software covering all workstations that will access
  29. the software through the network.  For instance, if 8 different
  30. workstations will access WinZip on the network, each workstation
  31. must have its own WinZip license, regardless of whether they use
  32. WinZip at different times or concurrently.

  34. WinZip Self-Extractor Personal Edition, included with WinZip,
  35. may be used at workstations licensed to use the registered
  36. version of WinZip to create an unlimited number of freely
  37. distributable royalty-free self-extracting Zip files.  Self-
  38. extracting Zip files created by WinZip Self-Extractor Personal
  39. Edition contain, among other things, a portion of WinZip Self-
  40. Extractor, including copyrighted software, proprietary notices,
  41. and identifying information (the "Extraction Software").  No
  42. registered user may alter or modify the Extraction Software.
  43. You cannot give anyone else permission to modify the Extraction
  44. Software.

  48. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  49. Connecticut.

  56. there is no warranty for the optional virus scanning feature
  57. (WinZip does not scan for viruses, it simply runs external
  58. programs that claim to perform this function).  Because of the

  60. be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS

  85. without charge for a period of 21 days.  If you use this
  86. software after the 21 day evaluation period a registration fee
  87. of $29 is required.  Payments must be in US dollars drawn on a
  88. US bank, and should be sent to Nico Mak Computing, Inc., P.O.
  89. Box 540, Mansfield, CT 06268.  Credit card ordering and quantity
  90. discounts are available, as described in the file ORDER.TXT.
  91. When payment is received you will be sent a registered copy of
  92. the latest version of WinZip.

  94. Self-extracting Zip files created by WinZip Self-Extractor
  95. Personal Edition (distributed as part of the WinZip evaluation
  96. package) contain, among other things, a portion of WinZip Self-
